CS55: Complete Holiday Package

October 31, 2008

The holidays are coming and it is time to start thinking about what gift to give the person who has everything already! We all have a few of those people on our lists.

A gift certificate is too impersonal, a bottle of wine is too “done there been given that” and a puppy is just too inappropriate. We would like to suggest an awesome alternative that is sure to please anyone with a home office. The world’s number one selling headset!

You can purchase a CS55 Complete Headset Kit for under $500!

The CS55 Complete Headset kit has a ton of new features and includes ear hook, headband, handset lifting device, and an online indicator.

The CS55 Complete Headset kit is the perfect gift for the small business owner and / or home office worker. Of course, that does not mean that you cannot get one for other people on your list. I bought one for my mother-in-law. I can write that because she doesn’t read my blog!

Sanitary Call Centres are Productive Call Centres

October 18, 2008

Promoting a sanitary and healthy call centre environment is a primary concern for most, if not all call centre managers.  After all, cutting down on office germs means less downtime, healthier and happy employees, and generally an environment that can lead to higher conversion rates.

It can be quite a challenge to maintain a healthy germ free environment in a typical call centre environment. Multiple shifts and a medium-to-high turnover can invite colds, influenza, and even more serious viral infections. Fortunately, measures can be take, procedures can be implemented, and results can be immediate, if you know where to start.

An obvious place to begin when promiting a sanitary call centre environment is employee headsets. Make sure to have an abundant supply of sanitary headset wipes on hand. Keep every station stocked and insist employees make use of the ample stash. Next, consider purchasing foam ear cuishions for headsets in bulk. Distrbute them to each employee and have them keep them at their stations in a baggie marked with their name.

Also a great idea to fight call center employee sick days is to ensure that there is plenty of hand sanititizer everywhere. This includes the staff rooms and washrooms, which should also be well stocked and very well maintained.

Fighting call center employee sick days do not need to be a daunting, complicated task. The above tips are simple yet effective, inexpensive, easy to implement, and a great place to start.

Understanding the Differences Between 900MHz and 2.4GHz Wireless Headset Systems

October 7, 2008

A Plantronics White Paper – December, 2003

Overview

When it comes to deciding on the right communications products for business, the key to finding the ideal solution lies not in “speeds and feeds,” but rather in finding the device best suited to fit a company’s needs. In telephony, the best device is the one that most cost effectively and efficiently meets those needs.

Increasingly, companies are turning to wireless headset systems to help their employees go completely hands free, and to add new freedom to the way they currently conduct their business. The mobility afforded by wireless headsets and the ability to multi-task contribute to a much more productive workforce.

Trying to decide which wireless headset system to buy shouldn’t come down to 900MHz headsets or 2.4GHz headsets based on frequency alone, because neither frequency is necessarily better than the other. Each headset and its corresponding frequency are different, and the overall quality of a wireless product is not directly related to frequency.

Companies should decide which wireless headset system to purchase based on what they need it to accomplish for their business. The key to being able to make this educated choice lies in understanding the importance of features such as range, audio quality, talk time, comfort, security and their associated benefits….
