Wsantaclaus paradehat’s On This Weekend: Santa Claus Parade in Toronto!

For those of you looking to get into the spirit of the holidays, make your way to the Yonge-Dundas Square this Sunday November 16 for the larger-than-life Santa Claus Parade! The Parade starts at 12:30pm but arrive early for a free grab ‘n go breakfast for the first 5,000 people to arrive at the square. There will also be live entertainment with a magician, Celebrity Clown, face painting, a live band, team mascots and celebrity photos and autographs. The Kidbits Professional Book Fair continues this weekend through to November 23 at the Central Library at 310 Burnhanthorpe Rd. W. Stop in with the whole family and see what your local library has to offer!

Come and check out the “Voices and the Band” live show at the Clarington pub this Saturday evening, November 15, for some great music, food, and drinks. Everyone is welcome! The show starts at 9pm and is free.

Let’s Go To The Ex Ooh Baby!

 

This upcoming labour day weekend is the last official weekend of The Ex. While definitely NOT free ( see pricing below) The Ex is a longstanding tradition among Torontonians and some Canadians. Aside from rides and games, here are a lot of events that the entire family can enjoy. There are also educational events and happenings geared entirely towards children, like Kids World, Kids AgVenture, ventriloquist acts and we absolutely cannot forget the Labour Day Parade!

 Of course my favourite event at The Ex (ooh baby) is the IAMS SuperDogs Show. On September 1st, the last day of the show, the Canadian International Air Show is scheduled. A must see for many families.

Summer may wrapping up but our Mississauga Farmers Market is still going strong.

Through to November, Square One Farmers Market in Mississauga is a great place for your family to spend your Friday or Sunday. With between 150-200 stalls, it is practically guaranteed that you will find something that interests you. Check out grass roots and local businesses that are offering fresh produce, handmade objects, jams and jellies, and so much more.
